Steve Kylie
Chair
Steve Kylie is a Barrister, Solicitor who was born and raised in Peterborough. Steve obtained his law degree at the University of Ottawa in 1978 and has worked as a lawyer in Peterborough, since being called to the bar in 1980. Steve is very active in our community and is involved in numerous community initiatives. Steve is one of the founding members of The Mount Community Centre.

John Martyn
Co-Chair
John Martyn is a retired educator and one of the founders of The Mount Community Centre. He has worked as a volunteer in non profit housing and poverty reduction initiatives for over 35 years. For many years John was a trainer for Telecare Distress Centre. John and his wife Nora are among the individuals who formed the Peterborough Theatre Guild. They enjoy celebrating the accomplishments of their four delightful grandchildren.

Su Musclow
Treasurer
Su is a retired elementary school teacher, principal, and course instructor at Trent University. Along with her commitment to TMCC, she is a long time supporter and Board member of Kairos Non-Profit Housing of Peterborough.

Micheal VanDerHerberg
Secretary
Michael has worked in the non-profit sector for fifteen years. His work with the New Canadians' Centre as a Refugee Resettlement Coordinator welcomed many refugee families to Peterborough. He now works with One City Peterborough, housing those who are hard to house in our community. Michael is a co-owner of the Silver Bean Cafe, and is happily married to Andrea with two beautiful children.

Nancy Sharpe
Communications
Nancy has extensive experience in communications, crisis management, marketing and social media having worked for decades in the field of communications and marketing. Nancy also worked for the Addiction Research Foundation and was inducted into the Peterborough and District Sports Hall of Fame in 2002.

Betty
Director At Large
Working with multiple generations for over 40 years, Betty brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and passion in her work with families. Betty specializes in providing intergenerational wisdom, wealth, estate & legacy planning for families. Betty's holistic approach supports and guides families with financial planning through every stage of their lives. Betty began her career in 2005 at IG Wealth Management as a Financial Consultant and in 2016 advanced to Division Manager. In the past, Betty worked with Peterborough Family Resource Centre for 25 years and as the Executive Director during the Ontario Early Years designation process.

Sister Eileen McManus
Director At Large
Sister Eileen has been a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph for over 64 years. As a registered nurse, she worked at St. Joseph's Hospital as a registered nurse, supervisor and mentor. Since retiring 10 years ago, she volunteers at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre in Palliative Care. Sister Eileen serves as a member of the Health and Human Services Committee where she interacts and supports our residential tenants.

Murray Rod
Director At Large
Murray is a respected and proven collaborative leader with success leading change, creating innovation, and improving organizational performances as Chief of Police, Canadian Forces Commanding Officer, and leader in the community. With 10 years experience as the Chief of Police with the Peterborough Police Service, he has the proven ability to inspire excellence and build high performing teams.

Lynn Taylor
Recording Secretary
Lynn is now retired, following a long career in administrative roles, including human resources and medical office administration. Over the years she has served on several not-for-profit Boards, both charitable and arts-focused. Lynn has volunteered at the Mount Community centre since its inception, and retirement allows her to expand her commitment to the success of the Mount Community Centre.

Dawn Berry Merriam
Director At Large
Dawn Berry Merriam has over 35 years experience in municipal, provincial and community planning. Her community planning is gleaned from her work at the Peterborough Social Planning Council, her positions as Manager of Social Planning with the City of Peterborough as well as the Associate Executive Director of the local District Health Council. She has held management positions with VON and with St. Joseph's at Fleming. Additionally she taught adult education at Fleming College.
