'Love Where you Live'
"Love where you Live' is the theme for our apartment rentals at The Mount Community Centre (TMCC). We have 68 apartments including studio, 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartment units. Each apartment is unique with a different layout/floor plan. Rents vary according to apartment size and type and rents increase each year according to the guideline of the Province of Ontario.
Some apartments are under the City of Peterborough's definition of 'Affordable' and therefore tenants' combined household incomes must not exceed certain thresholds. The City of Peterborough provides us with these thresholds each year.
Some apartments are rented at 'Market' rent and these rents are determined independently by The Mount Community Centre (TMCC).
Tenants must be able to live independently as TMCC does not provide support services or programs. Tenants who require supports, must access community supports on their own.
Each apartment has a fridge and stove, a bathroom with either a tub/shower or a just a shower, and window coverings.

Rental Requirements required at the time of lease signing:
TMCC is a smoke free building. Smoking and/or vaping are only permitted at the designated outside smoking area.
Peterborough Housing Corporation is the Property Manager for TMCC residential tenants.

- On-site card operated laundry facilities on each floor
- Elevator access to all apartments nexcept 5 below ground units
- Interior mailbox
- Parking availabilty for an additional $10 - $25 per month depending on apartment designation as 'Affordable' or 'Market' rent
- Some apartments have air conditioning
- Rent includes heat and hydro.
Rental Requirements required at the time of lease signing:
- First and last months’ rent
- Proof of tenant insurance
