SERVICES AT THE MOUNT
The Mount Community Centre offers a wide variety of services to the community. We currently have 43 apartments and are in the throes of renovations to add another ten apartments on the heritage side of the building. The Austin Doran Hall with its high catherdral ceilings and gothic architecture, is a favourite place to hold weddings. Three large community halls and two smaller meeting rooms are available for community rentals. A number of community organizations have made the Mount their home, holding their gatherings on a regular basis here. The new Kitchen and Food Innovation Centre is just about to open. It will offer a rent-able community kitchen and a place for education and learning. The cafe will only be open to our tenants but may be rented as a space for meetings or parties.
